Esau Graves was born on July 5, 1957 in Marion County, SC to the late Inez Johnson and Jeremiah Graves. He resided in Charlotte, NC. Esau was called home to eternal rest on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center Main Hospital in Charlotte, NC due to illness at the age of 59. In his early years, Esau attended Marion County Public Schools system. At a young age he went ton to work to help support his family. By working at the Sawmill, he did various yard work, worked at Smithfield. Later in life Esau moved to Charlotte, NC seeking a better opportunity and a new start in life. He spent many years at the Men's Shelter of Charlotte, NC. Then he moved on to Henderick's Car Dealership for Moonlight Cleaning Service.
Esau had a brother and sister who preceded him death: Freeman Johnson and a sister Euniceteen Graves. Esau leaves behind his memories ~ his wife: Alexzenia Graves of the home; two daughters: Latoya Robinson of Marion, SC; Virginia Graves Carlisle of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren: Sateria Berry, Darrell Morrison Jr. and Cerelle Carlisle Jr.; three brothers: Willie (Hazel) Johnson, Ephriam (Annette) Godbolt both of Marion, SC, Jeremiah (Lorriane ) Graves of Charlotte, NC and two sisters-n-law: Esther (Henry) Foxworth and Jeanette Johnson of Marion, SC; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
