Monette S. Woodberry

Monette Sharel Woodberry entered enteral rest on Sunday January 8, 2023, at the McLeod hospital in Florence, SC. She was born on February 27, 1971, to Humberto and Gladys Ortiz in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She graduated from Central High School in 1989. Monette attended Bulter Business School where she received a degree in Accounting, and also a phlebotomy certificate.

Monette was employed with the Marion County School District as a Food Service staff member, before then she was employed at Dollar Tree for many years where she had a positive impact on the life of others. Monette retired from the Marion County School District due to a few health issues. She was a joyful and loving person that enjoyed fellowshipping with different churches and meeting new people.

Monette leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with: her Daughter: Sakai’ya Weaver (Quentin German), Granddaughters: Ka’Briya and Gabriella German of Conway, SC Daughter: Jamira Woodberry of Latta, SC, Mother: Gladys Roman of Bridgeport, CT, Brothers: Humberto Ortiz (Anna) of Dallas, TX, Markus Ortiz of Waterbury, CT, Alvaro Ramirez Jr. (Brooke) of Bridgeport, CT, Sister: Gladys Mayes(Anthony) of Stratford, CT ,and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
